AN UPDATE ON THE EVOLVING COVID-19 SITUATION IN VICTORIA
Dear Confoil Customers,
We wish to thank you for your continuing support during this challenging situation. As many of you would be aware, in Victoria we have now embarked on stage 4 Covid-19 restrictions. We wish to provide you with an update on our operations and to assist in answering any queries you may have.
Production & Operations
At this time, there is no disruption to our production and operations, with our production teams continuing to work under normal operating hours. Our prime objective as we seek to respond to the stage 4 restrictions is the safety and well-being of our employees. As the Covid-19 situation has evolved and changed, we have adapted our Covid-19 response plan in accordance with government regulations.
With this in mind, we are continuing to operate under our Covid-19 safe plan which includes but is not limited to the following;
- Temperature checking of all staff;
- The mandatory wearing of face masks and/or face coverings;
- Multiple hand sanitisation stations across our operations, the reinforcement of good hand hygiene practices; and increased cleaning regimes throughout our site;
- The reinforcement of social distancing of 1.5 metres. This includes our lunchrooms, locker rooms and meeting rooms.
Raw Material Supply
Currently, we do not anticipate experiencing any disruption to the supply of our raw materials. We will continue to monitor notifications from both our local and international suppliers and directly notify our customers should this situation change at all.
Logistics & Warehousing
Our warehouse staff and the operational hours of our warehouse are unaffected by the stage 4 restrictions. Our principal transport providers implemented the compulsory wearing of face coverings and on-site temperature testing in July throughout all their depots on the eastern seaboard. General road and rail transport are also not affected by the restrictions; however, all transport operators must continue to work under a COVID-19 plan within the state of Victoria. Should there be any change to our delivery lines and transport time frames, we will promptly notify customers.
We’re here to help in any way we can and are also extremely mindful that some of our customers are also facing challenging times. We are working to ensure orders and enquiries are attended to in a timely and efficient manner, while continuing to work within the regulations of the stage 4 restrictions here in Victoria.
If you have any further queries, please contact your Confoil representative so that we can assist in addressing your queries as quickly as possible.
Stay safe and stay well.
